SOME WRITERS ARE METHODICAL AND ORGANISED AND WORK IN AN ORDERLY PROGRESSION IN VARIOUS FANDOMS.
I WISH.
MY MUSE IS AS CHAOTIC AS I AM. I WRITE FEVERISHLY IN GREAT OUTPOURINGS OF IDEAS IN ONE FANDOM OR ONE STORY, THEN MY MUSE SUDDENLY GETS BORED AND GOES IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. INSPIRATION CAN STRIKE AT ANY PLACE, ANY TIME AND I DO NOT EVEN TRY TO PRETEND THAT I AM IN ANY WAY IN CONTROL OF IT.
SINCE I DID NOT WISH TO KEEP CREATING NEW WEB PAGES FOR FANDOMS THAT I MIGHT ONLY EVER WRITE A COUPLE OF STORIES "IN", I HAVE CREATED THIS PAGE. HERE ARE ALL THE FANDOMS WHERE I HAVE, AM OR PROBABLY WILL WRITE ONLY TWO OR THREE STORIES. THE PAGE IS IN NO PARTICULAR ALPHABETICAL ORDER OR CHRONOLOGY.
STAR TREK: VOYAGER
DISCLAIMER: STAR TREK IN ALL FORMS, SHAPES AND SIZES BELONGS TO SOME AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ME. NO INFRINGEMENT IS INTENDED, NO MONEY IS BEING MADE FROM THESE STORIES. ALL ORIGINAL CHARACTERS AND ORIGINAL STORYLINES ARE THE PROPERTY OF CATHERINE D. STEWART (AKA CD STEWART) AND MAY NOT BE REPRODUCED, REPRINTED OR IN ANYWAY COPIED WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE AUTHORESS.
We all know Star Trek; the series, the movies...the animation?? Anyway, at the risk of psycho-babble, for the full explanation of where I'm "coming from" with these Star Trek: Voyager stories, please read first THE RANT also known as Catherine Explains It All. I was inspired to write these when I watched a Voyager extravaganza in December 2005 after being injured in a car accident. You may wish to blame these stories on undiagnosed brain injury then...but I'm pleased with them, though I can't say if the surge of ideas will last...
OF RYALS & RELATIONSHIPS: The Voyager has to make a pit-stop at a trading station, where the most friendly trader, Jeren, develops a major crush on a certain half-Klingon engineer. The trouble is not that she's already Tom Paris's lover, the trouble is she's not exactly beating Jeren off with a Bat'leth... (set before Alice)
F (Not Beta'd; P/T pairing - contains consensual heterosexual love scene, nothing too extreme). Word 2000 [148kb] Text Only [76kb]
ENCHANTED ENDGAME: Everyone's done one, the post-Endgame finale they wanted to see. This is my feel-good take on the future after Admiral Janeway had done her thing...(set post-Season 7).
F (Not Beta'd; P/T and J/C pairings plus S/Other - contains minor consensual heterosexual love scene and a double entendre, nothing wild) Word 2000 [196kb] Text Only [109kb]
FEEDING THE FURY: Tom Paris discovers that his lover, B'Elanna is having an affair with the worst person she could have picked in the Delta Quadrant - Chakotay - but things are not what they seem to be. Will Tom be able tamp down his rage for revenge in time to save the Voyagers?...
F (Not Beta'd; P/T pairing - contains minor consensual heterosexual love scene, nothing wild)
Word 2000 [109kb] Text Only [56kb]
LANDMINES: Seska is gone and now dead. But has she left behind any nasty surprises for the Voyagers? and will anyone figure it out in time to save Chakotay? (Set pre-Season 3 Blood Fever).
JOURNEY OF THE JAPAR: Voyager is being tracked by alien ships far more advanced than pretty much everything bar the Q Continuum; these aliens won't respond, and they won't engage with the crew, and unfortunately they have a tendency to be mercurial in helping to save the day. Janeway has had enough and determines to leave them behind eating Voyager's warp plasma, but the aliens' baffling obsession with the Voyager gets in the way.
THE INVISIBLE MAN:
DISCLAIMER: THE INVISIBLE MAN BELONGS TO STU SEGALL PRODUCTIONS.
The lnvisible Man aired for two full seasons, 2000 - 2001, starring Vincent Ventresca of Friends and Prey fame as the titular Invisible Man and the wonderful genre veteran Paul Ben-Victor as his mentally unstable babysitter/partner and eventual best friend Bobby Hobbes. Veteran Eddie Jones starred as The Official, with Mike McCafferty as Albert Eberts and Shannon Kenny as Claire, The Keeper. Wonderful dialogue, tight scripting, excellent plots and absolutely brilliant chemistry between Ventresca and Ben-Victor made I-Man a joy to watch. How anyone could be stupid enough to cancel this show is incomprehensible, but hey, American TV Networks strike again...
THE THOUSANDTH MAN: Darien Fawkes is feeling pretty good - he's cured of the Quicksilver Madness, is making headway with the gorgeous agent Alexandra Monroe, and back at The Agency voluntarily, he now gets to rule the roost with the Fat Man. But yep, there is a serpent in Paradise: FBI Agent William Jones, who never did get transferred to Alaska. He and his boss are in the firing line over mistakes that make the Feds look bad, and Darien discovers their dastardly plot to discredit Bobby Hobbes for their failures. Unfortunately, when your best friend really is a paranoid psychotic, how do you start to make your defence?
PLAYING WITH FIRE: Darien's tired of dancing...around Alex Monroe that is. He wants to take things with his beautiful colleague with the next level, but when a mysterious assassin suddenly makes vicious attempts on her life, Fawkes and Hobbes discover that they have been classes as 'guilty by association', and before they can save Monroe, they've got to save themselves...

PLAYERS:
Just something my muse just wouldn't stop nagging about. These stories might never go anywhere, but hey, compulsive-obsessive over here couldn't NOT write them:
NB - Players aired on NBC in 1997 - 1998, starring controversial rapper Ice-T (now on Law & Order: SVU) Costas Mandylor and Frank John Hughes as three New York conmen paroled to the FBI, their parole officer was played by Mia Korf. It was fun and the chemistry was good - best of all, Ice-T apparently left his monumental ego someplace else. Probably the best show he's ever done.)
CONFRONTATION: Agent Christine Kowalski is wiping the floor with bad guys, courtesy of three sharp-minded parolees. Unfortunately this is not good news for a certain ambitious colleague who is greedy for promotion but who has been dumb enough to publicly ridicule the situation that has now turned into a runaway success...
CONFUSION: The lead is flying but Kowalski and her Three Musketeers come through yet again - at least until Charlie O'Bannon wakes up in hospital, and asks who the black guy, the Italian and the cute Chinese chick are...
UNTITLED: After several years of inactivity, a vicious rapist-serial killer suddenly starts killing again - after inexplicably relocating to Los Angeles from always operating in New York. Detectives, profilers and the FBI alike are baffled - until Ice finds a bloodstained blouse in their apartment and Charlie O'Bannon's computer genius reveals the women's common denominator: Alphonse Royo, their charming, ladies' man partner. Who has disappeared with their parole officer, Agent Christine Kowalski...
